The Story BehindMongat Pasongan
Mongat Pasongan Homestay was founded by locals who grew up along the shores of Mentawai. We wanted to provide a comfortable place to stay for surfers and travelers who wish to experience the beauty of the Mentawai Islands without breaking the bank.
Our homestay is located in the Macaronis Resort area, home to the legendary Macaronis Wave. Known globally as one of the most consistent and perfect left-handers in the world, it is a true dream for every surfer. We are thrilled to share this world-class break with you, offering incredible access right from our doorstep.
Besides the Macaronis Wave, our area also features a spot known as Mini Macas (Mini Macaronis) — a friendlier wave suitable for surfers of all skill levels. Mini Macas offers fun and playful barrels, perfect for a more relaxed surfing session.
